Marvin Edward Pullin Jr., affectionately known as Bud to his friends and loved ones, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025, in Lansing, Michigan. Born on May 23, 1936, in Dublin, Georgia, Bud's journey through life was marked by his unwavering kindness, selflessness, and friendly demeanor that touched the hearts of many.
Valedictorian from Oconee High School in Dublin, GA. Bud proudly served his country in the U.S Army, attended MSU and was recruited by the State of Michigan.
Bud was an avid fisherman, BBQ's were legendary, and he had a love for dancing. He loved sports, especially the Boston Celtics. Marvin Edward "Bud" Pullin will be deeply missed and forever remembered as the face-value, straightforward man who always spoke with sincerity and lived with integrity.
Marvin is survived by his wife of 28 years, Francine Beebe-Pullin; his children, Michael (Charissa) Pullin, Margo Tuggle, and Miya "Nikki" Norman, six grandchildren, a brother Donnie (Glenda) Pullin; five sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Evans, Peggy Whittington, Beverly Gilmore,
Marinell Y. White, and Marva L. Pullin. Private services will be held, and Marvin will be laid to rest at Deepdale Memorial Park.
