Marvin "Tommy" Thomas Hubbard Iii

"Tommy" Marvin Thomas Hubbard III Tommy passed away in his home in Mena on October 17, 2025 at the age of 80, surrounded by his loving family. Tommy was born to the late Tom & Ada Belle Hubbard on January 26, 1945. He spent 33 years in law enforcement serving the people of Mena and Polk County. He was instrumental in forming the Grannis Police Department. His goal was to protect and serve. After law enforcement, Tommy enjoyed working at the family business, Mena Mountaintop Motel/Cabins. Tommy was a member of the Mena Church of God and loved his Lord and Savior. He was a 32° Mason and served in the Arkansas Army National Guard. Tommy sang bass with The Peace Keepers Quartet. He was also a member with the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed hunting with family and friends at O&R Hunting Club. He loved fishing, camping and watching old westerns. Most of all, spending time with his family. Tommy is survived by the love of his life, Judy, of 58 years. Children: Kimberly Thacker and husband, Brent of Gillette, WY Tracey Price and husband, Eddie. Mitzie French. Steven Hubbard and wife Misty, all of Mena, AR. Sister: Kathleen Parmenter of Waxahachie, TX. Brother: Bill Perry and wife Karen of Mena, AR. Brother in-law: Richard Clark and wife Teresa of Mena, AR. Clinton Clark and wife Barbara of Fort Smith, AR. Tommy has 8 grandchildren: Lindsey Buss, Cody Howard, Timmie Vanzant, Tori Morton, Macey Hubbard, Lacey Goodner, Thomas Hubbard and Hunter French. He also has 22 great-grandchildren and also several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and infant grand-daughter Kelli Anne Musick. His good humor and laughter will be deeply missed by all. Pallbearers will be Mike Oglesby and the Polk County Sheriff's Office along with the Mena Police Department. Honorary pallbearers are the O&R Hunting Club Graveside services will be at the Pine Crest Cemetery, Tuesday, October 21st, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Brother Mark Lyle and Brother Mike Lance will be officiating under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Visitation will be general.
