Marvin Williams, the seventh child of the late Bertha Lee Silas Williams and Claude Williams, was born June 17, 1950 in Camilla, Georgia.
Marvin was known to many as "Grease Hound" due to his job at the local service station years ago. Marvin had many skills and talents. He was a very skilled painter and carpenter working for a short time with Wade Construction.
On June 18, 1972, Marvin was united in Holy Matrimony to Hilda Spence, who preceded him in death. To this union four children were born. Marvin was known for his singing talents and doing his impersonation of people. He was well known in the community and loved by his family.
He departed this life on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Willson Hospice House in Albany, Georgia.
Marvin leaves to cherish his memories, four children, Veasley Williams, Arfaarncia Williams of Pelham, Georgia, Lawanda W. Isom (Jeffrey) of Camilla, Georgia, and Alethia Williams of Pelham, Georgia; three sisters, Queen Esther Faison (Eddie) of Albany, Georgia, Cynthia Williams of North Carolina, Beverly Williams of Camilla, Georgia; one brother, James Williams of Albany, Georgia; five sisters-in-law, Katie Haynes (Clarence) of Albany, Georgia, Allene King (Harry, Sr.) of Albany, Georgia, Ophelia Davis (Kenneth) of Pelham, Georgia, Irene Jones (Donald) of Columbia, South Carolina and Lucy Williams of Albany, Georgia; three brothers-in-law, Nathaniel Spence of Camilla, Georgia, Willie Spence (Patricia) of Pelham, Georgia, Emanuel Spence of Columbus, Georgia; seven grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
