Obituary For Marvin Leon Winters
Marvin Leon Winters was born to the late Willie and Nellie Lee (Jones) Winters on February 14, 1968, in Attala County. He was the baby boy of the family.
Marvin attended McAdams High School for a short period of time and Jericho Church (which is now known as Greater New Jericho). Even though he didn't complete school; he was one talented guy. He would take an old car and have it running within days. He didn't care that it had different color parts her and there on it; he said as long as it get me where he needed to go, he was fine with that. He could operate any piece of machinery; it didn't matter what it was.
Marvin loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends; but he mostly loved having a good time. You would know when it's a Friday or Saturday night in the Jones Quarter; all you would hear is the gun going off and the sound of the car roaring, tiers spinning, and him yelling whoop. Everyone in the neighborhood knew that it was Marvin. Marvin had so many nicknames and he answered to them all.
Preceding Marvin in death are his parents: Willie and Nellie Winters and four siblings: Willie Winters Jr., Mae Watson, Bunny Smith, Nathan Winters.
Marvin leaves to cherish his memories one son: Tyler Lorenzo Sharkey, A special friend and her family: Danielle Williams, Dania Williams, Danesha Williams and Kamia Williams. His right-hand friend: Red (His Paw Friend); Four brothers: James Winters, Leonard (Debra) Jones, Willie Ed Jones; Three Sisters: Shirley Hudson, Annie Winters, Gennie (Charles) Seawood, and a host of nieces and nephews.
