Mary Andrews Obituary

Mary loved being a housewife and stay at home mother. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Many of her hobbies included crossword puzzles, puzzles, crocheting, collecting knickknacks, baking homemade bread, canning, and gardening. She also enjoyed watching the soap opera Days of Our Lives. She also had a great love of chips, candy, soda, and ice cream.
Mary is survived by five children: Ethel Myers of Bath, Peggy (Sam) Makatura of Malt, OH, Donna Vasseur of Addison, Harry Andrews of Addison, Norma (Mark) Gill of Addison; eight grandchildren: Peter Myers, Matthew Myers, Jessica (Craig) Danielsen, Lisa (Will Cousins) Makatura, Robin (Timothy) Ball, Jill Makatura, Michael (Kristin) Bartholf, Kayla Bartholf ; eighteen great- grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was predeceased by a son, William Andrews in 1978.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Flint Funeral Home, 10 Wall Street, Addison, New York 14801. A funeral service will immediately follow at Noon with Pastor Scott Towner officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot in Addison Rural Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marys name may be sent to: Fred & Harriett Taylor Health Center, 7571 NY-54, Bath, NY 14810.
