Eileen Allen Obituary

Born on October 7, 1953 in Wellsboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Leona (Vancise) Nageli. Eileen was a graduate of Cowanesque Valley High School. She married Norman Allen on June 13, 1982. Eileen worked as a quality control inspector for Corning, Inc., retiring with over 20 years of service.
Eileen will be remembered for her love of roses and country music. For many years she enjoyed going to the Double EE Ranch Rodeo to listen to her cousin, Lisa Kay, sing. Each Saturday, Eileen and Norman would enjoying watching the country singers at the Grand Ole Opry on television. She also enjoyed going to car shows around the area and the Woodhull raceway. Eileen's greatest gift and joy was her cooking and baking. She could always be found in the kitchen whipping up amazing dishes for her family to enjoy. When she was no longer able to cook, she enjoyed watching various cooking shows and would often order cookbooks and cooking supplies from QVC.
Eileen is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Norman Allen of Lindley; son, Jamie Allen of Salt Lake City, UT; daughter, Jessica (James) Popp of Raleigh, NC; stepdaughter, Tammie (Orie) Copp of Lindley, NY; grandchildren: Kayla Wade, Steven Copp, Miles Popp; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Debbie (Joe) Metcalf of Shinglehouse, PA; and nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Presho Cemetery, Indian Hills Rd., Lindley, Pastor Kevin Austin officiating. Flint Funeral Home, 10 Wall St., Addison has been entrusted with Eileen's care.
