Mrs. Mary Virginia Ange

Mary Ange was born June 11, 1922, in Wesleyan, Massachusetts. She was raised mostly in northern Ohio, but also spent several years of her youth in Brooklyn, New York. She was married to the late Paul Ange in June 1942, shortly before he deployed to the South Pacific in World War II. They would not see each other again for three long years. They had two daughters, Cecelia Rose, who was born while Paul was away, and Catherine Louise. Mary and her husband Paul lived most of their lives in the Cleveland, Ohio, area, where he worked for Republic Steel and served in the Ohio National Guard. Following Paul's retirement in 1974 they moved to Panama City. They were stalwart members of the Bahá'í community and long-time members and supporters of the Panama City Square Dancing Association. They enjoyed over 27 years of retirement and traveling together and were also active in local veterans' activities until Paul's passing in 2002. Mary is survived by her daughters Cecelia Randolph (Eddie) and Cathy Tout (Lenny), five grandchildren, Paul Tout (Julie) and Dawn Klamser (Kevin) of Panama City, Florida; and Lisa Jeske, Gina Settanni (Tony), and Danny (Wendy) DiBiasio, all of the Cleveland, Ohio area; and 16 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous friends associated with the Bahá'í community, the Red Hat Club, and the Newcomers' Club. Mary is fondly remembered and deeply missed by the Bahá'í Communities in the Panama City area, and by close friends in her neighborhood Judy and Bill Wright, Renee and Jerry Fitzgerald, Mary Ann Bradford, and Ben Addison. The family sincerely thanks the many friends who served and supported Mary over the years.
