Mary Ann Ford, 74 of Horse Cave was born on September 5, 1949 to Hollis Jack Ford and Carrie Mae Bell Franklin. She went home on November 25, 2023. Mary joined Friendship Baptist Church and later mover her membership to First Baptist where she was a faithful member. She loved to quote Bible scripture, her favorite was, “I’ve learned to be content in whatever state I’m in”. She would always say, “Let go and let God”. She was content in all things and she let God.

 

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by four brothers, Ernest, Walter, Mark and James Franklin; grandparents, Walter and Minnie Bell.

 

She leaves to mourn her passing a son, Phillip Wayne Ford, Munfordville, KY; a daughter, Stacy Ann Percell of Cave City, KY; two granddaughters, Mailey Ford, Cave City, Ky and McKenzie Ford, Bowling Green, KY; two brothers, Roy “Stuffy” Reed, Horse Cave, KY and Larry Reed, Nashville, TN; two sisters, Carolyn Faulkner (Rev. Daryl Faulkner), Munfordville, KY and Joyce Allen (Dee), Glasgow, KY; a host of nieces nephews, cousins, friends, and the Horse Cave First Baptist Church members. 

 

The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 and again from 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Horse Cave First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Horse Cave First Baptist Church with Rev. Hugh Heater and Rev. Jamie Maxey officiating. Burial will follow at Bearwallow Cemetery. Brooks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
