It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Anne Sansevere, a beloved mother, sister, and friend. Mary Anne passed away peacefully, surrounded by her daughters, who were with her until the very end.
Mary Anne was born in Jersey City, NJ on November 25, 1947, and later lived in Boca Raton, Florida with her husband Carmine Sansevere and children, where she made lasting memories centered around her family.
Mary Anne had a quick wit like no other and an unmistakable sense of humor. She could make anyone laugh, often without even trying, and she was known for saying exactly what everyone else was thinking. Her sharp mind and humor were a defining part of who she was.
Above all else, Mary Anne was a mother. She taught her daughters to be strong women—to speak up for themselves, to be independent, and to stand their ground. These lessons were shown through her actions every day and will stay with her daughters forever.
Mary Anne is survived by her daughters, Monica and Nicole, and by her sisters, Margaret Ganci, Eileen Stanaway, and Patricia Sarno. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eileen Madden and Thomas Farrington; her sisters, Kathleen Callahan and Theresa Farrington; and brothers Mark Farrington and Matthew Farrington.
Her absence will leave a lasting impact on all who knew her. She will be remembered for her tenacity, her strength, and her humor. She will be deeply missed and always remembered.
