Mary Asher Obituary
Mary was born on June 17, 1933, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Robert and Opal Partlow. She grew up in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, alongside her two sisters, Bobba and Jane. On August 6, 1955, she married the love of her life, James Asher. James and Mary had one son, Steven Lee Asher. Together, they shared a love for antiques and enjoyed hosting arts and craft shows at their home in Del City. The greatest joy of Mary's life was her family, especially her grandchildren, grandnieces and nephews, and great-grandchildren.
Mary was a devoted member of Sooner Baptist Church in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Known for her warm smile and generous spirit, she made sure everyone felt loved, both by her and by Jesus.
Mary was preceded by death by husband, James Asher; son, Steven Asher; parents, Robert and Opal Partlow; sister Bobba, and husband Mick McElroy.
Mary is survived by sister, Jane Goolsby; daughter-in-law, Donna Asher; grandsons, Bryce and Lindsy Asher, Garrett and Destiny Asher; granddaughter, Mara Asher; great grandchildren, Oakley, Hendrix, and Riggs Asher; niece Cathy and George Pendell; nephew, Todd and Michelle Goolsby; niece, Shellie Holt; grandnephew, Tag Holt; grand nieces, Mackenzie and Elias Rameno, Maggie Goolsby, and Addison Pendell.
A celebration of Mary's life will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Sooner Baptist Church in Midwest City, Oklahoma, at 10:00 a.m.
Mary will be deeply missed, but her love and legacy will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.

We love you, Meme! She was very special to me, from talking on the phone, to shopping with her, she made life fun! She was very wise, and always had something to share. I loved spending time with her at her house, from sitting outside on her porch, to celebrating holidays in her garage together as a family. We miss you, Meme! -Addison Pendell-great-neice
