Mary Jane Bauer was born on February 20, 1966 in Sleepy Eye, MN; the daughter of Gerald and Arlene Schroepfer. She was united in marriage to David Michael Bauer on February 28, 1987. Mary and David treasured their simple lifestyle on their small family farm near Litchfield, MN.
Mary had a trustful surrender to Our Lord's Divine Providence always saying, "God will provide." She was a modest, devoted, loving, selfless, humble wife and mother to her husband and 12 children. She took her vocation as a Catholic wife and mother very seriously; always trying to please God, leading a holy life and raising her children to always put God first. She was known to live by the saying and often said, "God's will be done!" She also had a special devotion to praying for the poor souls in purgatory and never complained. Instead, she offered many of her trials and sufferings; no matter how big or small.
Mary is survived by her husband; David, children; Dianne (Johannes) Poganatz of Ontario, Canada, Dominic Bauer of Litchfield, Minnesota, Marlys (Jonah) Wilcott of Saskatchewan, Canada, Denise (Shawn) Cerise of Basalt, Colorado, Michael Bauer of Litchfield, Minnesota, Michelle Bauer of Nicollet, Minnesota, Rose (Kenny) Larkey of St. Cloud, Minnesota, Annette (Steven) Larkey of Bowlus, Minnesota, Mark, John, Joseph, and Katie Bauer all of Litchfield, Minnesota;11 grandchildren, 10 siblings, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Sandra Sellner.
