Mary Bennett Obituary
Mary is survived by five of her 7 children Dan Wolf (Sandy), Ken Wolf (Bonnie), Kathy Abdul-Samad (née Wolf), Ellen Wolf and Scott Bennett (Lori) and will be dearly missed by her 3 step-children Dennis Bennett (Salma), Dale Bennett (Cindy) and Barbara Drury (née Bennett). She was preceded in death by her parents Dorothy and Ray Nevins, her sister Pat Kowalczyk (née Nevins) along with two of her children Diane Williams (née Wolf) and Brian Bennett (Jennifer). Mary lovingly leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She is also leaving behind a legacy of love of faith, family and friendship underscoring her central role in the large, blended family she created as being the strength for the incredible love that she gave.
During her earlier years, Mary loved volunteering at the schools where she sent her kids and was always their biggest fan in the stands during sporting events and all of their activities. Being known for her sociable nature, warm hospitality and respect for everyone, she built enduring friendships throughout her working years at County Stadium and Grasch Foods and also cherished her close friends, Nancy and Gloria during her years at the Deer Creek community. Mary will be deeply missed by all those that knew her and her legacy and memory will always be with us.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 11:45 AM at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 15250 W. National Ave., New Berlin with the memorial service to follow at 12:00 PM.
