Age 86. Passed away peacefully on February 14, 2024 while surrounded by her loving family.
Loving mother to Anne (Don) Burmeister, Diane Moslavac, Dennis (Jaime) Moslavac, Daughter-in-law Jill Katchenago, foster daughter Tracy Gibbs. Former spouses Dennis Moslavac Sr. and Danny Best. She was beloved by her 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many longtime friends.
Mary is preceded in death by her mother Verna Kolveck, her beloved son Michael Stechauner, his father Herbert Stechauner, and Ginger, her cherished German Shephard.
Mary will always be remembered for her kind and generous heart and open door policy to all who needed her help. She loved to cook her famous lasagna for her family and friends. Mary's hospitality for her family and friends will truly be missed by all. Mary loved to travel, various camping trips, Niagara Falls, and the many Casino adventures all while listening to her Motown favorites and some Patsy Cline. The one dream trip that eluded her was her Alaskan cruise, she made it a point to make sure it was a part of her bucket list.

In lieu of flowers, donations accepted to Mary's favorite institutions, St Jude Foundation and the Humane Society.
Visitation at Hartson Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 21st, 2024 from 5 to 7pm. Funeral Service to follow at 7pm. Interment Thursday February 22nd, at 10:30am at Holy Cross Cemetery.

We grew up with Auntie Mary from childhood on and always had a wonderful time with her creating many memories.
She always had a smile, great sense of humor & could always make you laugh.
Auntie Mary will be greatly missed
