Mary Boardwine

Mary Alda Boardwine, 65, of Cedar Bluff, Va., passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025. She was born in Lebanon, Va., on October 5, 1959, the daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Harless Boardwine.
She was a woman of strong faith and loved the Lord. She enjoyed fishing and crafting and loved Christmas decor.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Richard Boardwine, Mark Boardwine, and Rebecca Ann Boardwine.
Survivors include her daughters, Melissa Hale and husband Rodney and Kim Hankins; grandchildren, Mary Makayla Hale, Matthew Hale, Jacob Hale, Hannah Hale, Nova Hankins, and Scarlett Hankins; siblings, Phillip Boardwine and wife Judy, Kathy Holmes and husband Richard, Beverly Boardwine, Stacy Boardwine, Jennifer Ball, and Jamie Boardwine; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2025, in the Owens Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Doug Allen officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
Pallbearers will be Brice Boardwine, Matthew Hale, Justin Ball, Brad Cordle, and Rick Holmes.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12 until 2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
