After World War II she met and married Ed Britko in 1947. Mr. Britko died July 22, 1985.They made their home in the coal-mining town of Marianna. While there, they started their family. Later, after leaving Marianna, she was involved in the family business, Washington Food Specialty Company (Wise Potato Chips). Family gatherings were a way of life, with every holiday and family milestone celebrated with food and laughter. This continued with her grandchildren, including sleepovers and sporting events.
