Mary Cahill Obituary

She was preceded in death by her brother John Reid and his wife Harriet and her nephew Jason Reid.
Mrs. Cahill was born December 20, 1937 in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of the late Denis and Margaret (Link) Reid. She was a graduate of King's Daughter Hospital nursing program and was employed as Registered Nurse. She spent most of her nursing career at Bon Secours Hospital in Baltimore and St. Joseph's Hospital in Towson.
Patty is survived by her daughter Bridget Bailin and her husband James, her brother Dennis Reid and his wife Noreen, her step daughters Jane Rettaliata and Kathleen Jones, her grandchildren Aidan and Cassidy Bailin; Ryan, Shane, Justin and Jacob Bassetti; Casey Workman and Cole Ecret; several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and loving extended family and friends.
Donations in her name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. stjude.org/givehope
A celebration of life funeral mass will held at the chapel at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 13305 Long Green Pike Hydes, MD 21082 on August 23, 2025 at 10 am.
The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., East York, is assisting with the arrangements.
