In Loving Memory of Mary A. Casey
It is with both sadness and celebration that we announce the passing of Mary A. Casey, who left this world peacefully on October 9, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on August 10, 1935, in Memphis, TN, Mary lived a life rich in love, devotion, and unwavering faith. A longtime resident of Sugar Hill, GA, she found joy in her family, her faith, and her community, where she was known as an avid churchgoer and a cherished homemaker.
Mary was married to her beloved husband, Robert "Bob" Casey, for 54 wonderful years until his passing. Together, they created a warm, nurturing home filled with laughter and love.
She will be deeply missed by her daughters: Linda Brown and her husband Don, Diana Gibson and her husband Jim, and Roberta Ives and her husband Jeffrey. Mary shared a close and loving bond with each of them, and her nurturing spirit and quiet strength remain deeply rooted in their lives. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Jennifer Dove and her husband Tim, and Natalie Dial and her husband Raymond. She also leaves behind her adored great grandchildren: Aubree, Victoria, Grant, Ellie, and Everly. Each of them carries with them her warmth, her unwavering faith, and the gentle love she gave so freely. Mary was not only a devoted mother and grandmother but also a guiding light whose presence will be forever felt in the hearts of those she loved.
Mary was preceded in death by her loving parents, Arzo Baldwin and Cecil Baldwin; and her siblings, Katie, Harold, Leonard, Jimmy, and Buddy; as well as her beloved husband, Robert Casey. Throughout her life, Mary was surrounded by a deep sense of family and connection - a bond she valued dearly and carried with grace, love, and unwavering devotion.
A woman of profound faith and quiet strength, Mary was known within her church community as a dedicated servant and an inspiration to many. Her presence touched lives far and wide, and her memory will continue to do so.
A memorial service will be held in her honor at the Peachtree Corners Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with Dr. Michael McCullar officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of her remarkable life.
Mary A. Casey's life was a beautiful testament to love, kindness, and faith. Though she will be dearly missed, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
