Where to start with the memories. We had so many late night laughs at the Legion. A couple of times we were so sleep deprived from volunteering at the Legion that even the dumbest thing made us laugh. We shared pictures and stories of our grandbabies and we shared our love of our veterans.

I am so glad we became such good friends - I believe everyone is meant to cross our path at some time for a reason. I am blessed that we had that honor.

To MaryAnn's family, friends and colleagues: Mutual friends called last Friday to inform me of her passing. I was deeply saddened to hear this. I'll always remember MaryAnn as a person who was devoted to her loved ones and passionate in her calling as an educator and administrator. I'm a better, stronger, and more determined person because of the years we spent together. My prayers are with you as you grieve her loss.
Grace and peace,
Mark Katrick
