Funeral services celebrating the life of Mary Louise Brister Cobb, 81, of Mangham, Louisiana, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro, Louisiana with Rev. Clay Nichols officiating. Interment will follow immediately after at the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home.
The visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mrs. Cobb was born on January 15, 1944, in Leesville, Louisiana and passed away on November 7, 2025, in Jackson, Mississippi.
Louise was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, friend, and homemaker. She was married to the love of her life, Robert Cobb, Sr. for forty-four years. They planted their roots in Mangham, Louisiana where they raised their five children. Louise was an excellent cook and loved hosting family dinners and getting together with her family and friends. She enjoying sewing, thrift shopping, and most of all raising her beloved dachshunds, that was her ultimate love. We all will miss her dearly and will carry our special memories of her. Those memories will last to the end of time.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Cobb, Sr.; and parents, Beatrice and James Brister.
Those left to honor and cherish her legacy are her children, Keith Cobb (Melissa), Monica Johnson (Johnny), Martha Blane (Durrand), Penny Flint (Rusty), and Robert Cobb, Jr.; nine great grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; siblings, Lorene Jones, Jeanette Thompson, Carolynn Stokes, Travor Brister, and Bonnie Jo Mikel; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.
The pallbearers will be Kodi Thompson, Emilee Williams, Rusty Flint, Durrand Blake, Mitch Davis, and Dakota Erwin.
