Mary was born on October 13, 1925 in Noblestown, a daughter of the late Joseph D. and Estella S. Plance McGinnis.
Mary was a retired nurse's aide for St. Clair Hospital. She loved spending her time at home with a good book or a word search puzzle. Truly what made her the happiest was her family. She loved being surrounded by the many generations in her family. Being almost 100 years old, her family is filled with people of all ages. They all kept Mary young and full of life. Being an active part of everyone's lives was something that Mary was so thankful for. She created memories with each person that will truly last a lifetime.
Surviving are her children, Shirley (late Robert H.) Nix and Morris P. (Sharon) DeVos Sr., grandchildren, Christine (Perry) Rummell, Brian (Melana) Nix, Shawn (Missy) Nix, Morris P. (Michelle) DeVos Jr., Jamie (Jeremy) Roberts, Tammy (Ernie) Stevens, great grandchildren, Ryan (Laura) Tokarski, Cody (Kayla) Tokarski, Isabella and Ryder Nix, Buddy (Courtney) DeVos, Matthew Stevens, Brianna Roberts, Addison Roberts, Vincent DeVos, Kenzie Stevens, Ellea Roberts and Anthony DeVos, great-great grandchildren, Austin, Camden, Garrett, Raegan and Wyatt Tokarski, Ainsley DeVos, Morris "Lil Mo" DeVos IIII and Killian DeVos.
Along with her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband, Morris Devos (2002), and all 11 of her siblings.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, September 12, 2025 from 2-8 p.m. at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 314 W. Lincoln Ave., McDonald (724-926-2800). A Service will be held following the visitation in the funeral home at 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Jaime or Cliff Hughes for their daughter, who is battling childhood cancer. Donations may be mailed to the funeral home.
