We gather to honor and celebrate the life of Mary Beth Donahue, born on January 6th, 1956, in Hazleton, PA, who passed away from natural causes on December 6th, 2024.
Mary Beth graduated from Neshaminy High School in 1973 and spent her career in the service industry. She married the love of her life, Tom Donahue Jr. in 1985 and became a mother to their only child, April a year later.
A woman of strength and resilience, Mary Beth was known for her vibrant spirit and sense of adventure. She enjoyed music, dancing, and hosting family and friends for holidays and milestone celebrations.
She leaves behind her loving daughter, April Ramsey and her husband Thomas, her caring mother, Mary Camer, her brothers, Kenneth Jr. and Curtis Camer, and her nephew Kenneth Camer III and wife Rebecca. She also leaves her great-nephew, Kenneth Camer IV, her great-niece, Abigail Camer, and her cherished granddaughter, Kyla Ramsey. She is preceded in death by her dear husband, Thomas Jr., and her father, Kenneth Camer.
Relatives and friends may greet Mary Beth's family on Saturday, December 14th, 2024, from 10:00 am - 10:45 am at St. Dominic Catholic Church, located at 8504 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19136. This will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at the church. Inurnment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery where Mary Beth will be laid to rest with her husband Thomas following the Mass. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Mary Beth's memory to Project Home, www. projecthome.org. would be greatly appreciated. As William Penn said, "For death is no more than a turning of us over from time to eternity," and while our dear Mary Beth has made this transition, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
We encourage friends and family to share memories and upload photos of Mary Beth on the memorial page, to keep her memory alive and celebrate the incredible life she lived.
