Mary Easow, affectionately known as Rajamma, left this world on December 30, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on April 23, 1942, in Edathua, Kerala, India, her journey led her to the United States, where she passed away in San Antonio surrounded by the love of her family.

She was the cherished matriarch of our family that revered her strength and passion. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Pallipeedikayil Easow (Achenkunju), her father M.C. John, her mother Annamma John, and her sister Valsamma Rajan. Her legacy continues through her loving brothers, Thomas M. John and Jose Mohan John; her adoring children, Hannah Thomas, Sojan Easow, and Sujan Easow; her caring son-in-law and daughters-in-law, Abraham Thomas, Binsy Easow, and Vini Easow; her treasured grandchildren, Juhi George, Sibil George, Judi Williams, Chris Williams, Nikita Sojan, Nishita Sojan, Namita Easow, and Nevin Easow; and her adorable great granddaughter Sofia George.
Her life was a testament to the values she held dear: passion, faith, courage, and generosity. Her faith-filled nature was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through the trials and tribulations of life with unwavering resolve. Her passion was evident in everything she did, especially her incredible culinary skills, which brought the family together over meals filled with laughter and love.
Those who knew her will remember the courage with which she faced life's challenges, never losing her ability to smile and provide comfort to others. In her free time, she took pleasure in leisurely walks and reading.
As we bid farewell to Mary, we are comforted by the knowledge that her legacy will live on through the lives she touched and the love she shared. Her memory will be cherished, her stories recounted with fondness, and her presence sorely missed. Her life was a gift to all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us.

As we say goodbye to our beloved mom and ammachi, we hold tight to the memories and the lessons she imparted. Her journey may have ended in San Antonio, but her story is far from over, as it is carried forward in the lives of those she loved. She has left us physically, but the echoes of her love and the impact of her prayers will live on forever.
