Mary B. Fallon, cherished mother and grandmother and beloved wife passed away on Saturday, April 26th at the age of 81 in Long Beach, New York. Born on November 9,1943 in Charlestown, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Anne Quinn and is survived by her husband Tony Fallon, their three sons, Brian, Anthony and Chris, her two grandchildren Conor and Hayley, as well extended family and friends who will miss her always.
Mary left her hometown in Ireland in 1962 and came to New York City, sponsored by her brother Bill. Mary met Tony in 1969, and they were married one year later in the Bronx where they started their family. Shortly after Anthony was born, they fell in love with the seaside town of Long Beach and bought their first home on Alabama Street where they built a life together, and later welcomed their third son Chris.
Mary gave her heart and soul to raising her family, making sure that her sons were well versed in American history, including visiting many historical landmarks. Among many other things, she will be remembered for her playfulness, compassion and generosity, traits that will continue to inspire her loved ones.
The family will receive visitors at Christopher Jordan Funeral Home on Monday, April 28 from 4- 8pm. A prayer service will be held at 7pm at the Funeral Home
