Mary L. Filakovsky

Mary L. Filakovsky, age 61 of Shelton entered into rest on Friday March 11, 2022 in her home with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 26 years to William Filakovsky. She was born in Berwyn, IL on July 14, 1960 daughter of the late Victor and Joan Weronica (Sullivan) Wilkinson and was a resident of Shelton for many years. Mary was a Bookkeeper with Levi and Associates for many years. She likes fishing, camping, playing softball and billiards. She lived for her children and always put others first.
She is the mother of Vanessa Frano (Gary Frano), Amanda Filakovsky (Dennis Griffin), Valerie Pennatto (Michael Wendland), Lindsey Filakovsky, and Victoria Pennatto, loving grandmother of Colin, Jade and Harber Frano, Ava Pennatto, Brendon Palmieri, Jaylen Ribiero, Adalind Filakovsky, Anthony, Autumn and Allorah Pennatto, sister of Neil Wilkinson and Patty Stryszak. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mary's family is hosting her memorial services at her home, 13 Soundridge Rd. Shelton. Her daughter Valerie will notify everyone of the date and time The Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Rd. Shelton is entrusted with the cremation.
