Mary Flynt Obituary
Surviving Mary Etta are, one daughter; Tammy Ann (Michael B.) Arnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, two sons; Rondell Keith (Edwina) Hoskins and Roy Kenneth Hoskins both of Salyersville, Kentucky, one sister; Martha Back of Salyersville, Kentucky, four grandchildren; Cristal Ann Cochran, Rebekah Huerta, Teddy Caleb Hoskins and Kennedy Hoskins, four great-grandchildren; Ava Cochran, Grayson Cochran, Jensen Hoskins and Gus Huerta. Also surviving is her devoted care giver and friend of many years; Narda Howard.
In addition to her parents Mary Etta is preceded in death by her first husband; Rondell Green Hoskins, second husband; Mickey Flynt, three brothers; Winford Arnett, Forrest "Brother" Arnett and Ray Arnett, three sisters; Orcie Arnett, Cloteen Bush and Nelda Heink.
Mary Etta was a retired Teacher and Librarian and a member of the Primitive Baptist Faith.
Funeral services for Mary Etta Hoskins Flynt will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Beecher Junior McCarty officiating. Burial will follow in the Hoskins Family Cemetery, Salyersville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Monday, February 23, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and anytime Tuesday prior to funeral services.
