Mary Forlines Obituary

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 15 at 4 PM in the Winterville Christian Church with a reception afterwards. Private burial will be in the Winterville Cemetery.
Mrs. Forlines, a native of Pitt County, lived all her adult life in Winterville. She taught sewing at Pitt Community College for 23 years before her retirement in 1989. Mrs. Forlines was a former member of the Greenville NC Quilters Guild and made many quilts for the Ronald McDonald House, flood victims and cancer patients at the Leo Jenkins Cancer Center. She was a member of the Winterville Christian Church and was an Elder. She was also a member of the Goldpath Senior Group and member of the Winterville Historical and Arts Society where she served on the Board of Directors.
She was preceded in death by her husband, E.O. "Pannie" Forlines; parents, Allen and Dora Willoughby Forbes and foster brother, Z.L. Forbes
.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Winterville Christian Church, P.O. Box 597, Winterville, NC 28590.
