It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary-Frances Farko, who passed away on April 25, 2024 at the age of 48. Mary-Frances was born February 27, 1976 in Willingboro, NJ. To Johnathan and Wendy Farko. Mary-Frances moved to Ajo, AZ in 1977, with her parents. As the Farko family grew the family moved to Mesa, Az. In 1984. Where Mary- Frances grew up with her siblings and cousins. Mary-Frances's journey through life was marked by her devotion to her family, her passion for music and the ocean and her unwavering kindness. She was a graduate of Red Mountain High school, class of 1995. She went on to receive her associate degree from Mesa Community College, as well as receiving a license in the art of Nail Technology. She also attended ASU for a brief period of time before following her dream to be near the ocean. Mary-France's dream as a child was to become a marine biologist. Although her dream was not lived out she was able to live her adult life enjoying the sunshine and beautiful ocean in Florida. Mary-Frances spent her time in Florida exploring her love of aquatic animals and built many friendships, along with adopting her precious Jack Terrier, Jackson Lewis.
Mary-Frances was artistic and talented in music and art. Her hobbies consisted of making greeting cards, holiday wreaths and making old furniture look beautiful. Her love of music started at a young age where she played the clarinet from elementary school to college. Mary-Frances made the world more colorful and beautiful with her art and kindness to all. She always made everyone feel loved and wanted.
Mary-France's memory is honored and upheld by her surviving grandmother Mary Miller, parents Jonathan and Wendy Farko, her siblings J.J (Rachael) Farko, Deana (Tim) Mishler and Babe Farko. Her nieces Noah and Alice Farko, Lucas Mishler, Anthony Farko, Kayla and Alyssa Mishler. Her beloved dog Jack and a vast family of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A service to celebrate Mary-France's life will be held on May 25, 2024 at 5:00pm at Tim and Deana Mishler's home. Where Mary-France's life will be shared and cherished.
Mary-Frances Farko's story is one of love, kindness and laughter – a life that will continue to inspire and guide us. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever bloom in the hearts of all who knew her.
