It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Betty Geheb, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world on April 12, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on February 2, 1944, in Bristol, LA, Mary dedicated her life to caring for those around her, always putting the needs of others before her own. She embodied the true essence of motherhood-loving, nurturing, and endlessly compassionate.
Mary is survived by her three sons, Gary, David, and Robert Geheb; her brother, Levie Richard; and her cherished grandson, Aaron Geheb. Her legacy of love and kindness will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Margaret Catholic Church on April 21, 2025, at 1:00 PM. A public viewing will take place at Johnson Funeral Home on the same day from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, allowing family and friends to gather, share memories, and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman.
Mary's spirit will be remembered and cherished by her family and friends, a testament to the profound impact she had on everyone she met. May she rest in peace.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Geheb and infant son, Joseph Geheb.
