Mary Lou Hanshaw

Mary Lou Hanshaw, age 66, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 20, 2022. She was born in Strongsville, Ohio, on October 14, 1959, to Marvin and Viola Brown.
Mary devoted her career to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse, a role she cherished throughout her life. She found joy in simple pleasures-taking long walks through the metro parks, spending time on the beaches of Florida, and dedicating herself to serving the special needs children of Medina County. Her compassion and steady kindness touched many lives.
She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Brian Hanshaw. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her children, Troy Hanshaw and Christine Hanshaw, who carry her spirit forward.
Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place. Memorial contributions to help the family with final expenses may be made to Carlson Funeral Home, 1642 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212.
