Mary Ann Haywood, 68, of Baytown, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 30, 2012, at her home. She was born October 17, 1943, in Liberty, Texas, to John Gaither Greak and Mary Louise (Riviere) Greak. Mary Ann worked in the travel industry as a travel agent. She was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church. Considered "The Rock" of her family that she loved so dearly, Mary Ann enjoyed cooking, traveling shopping and eating. She was also an enthusiastic member of the Ya-Ya Group. Preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband of almost fifty-four years, David Haywood; daughters, Lisa Diane Fleetwood and husband, Kevin and Mary Catherine Haywood; brothers, Darrell Haywood and wife, Susan and Jay Haywood; sister, Diane Huddleston; seven grandchildren, Kahla, Megan, Kody, Melynn, Blaire, Kyle and Jason; great granddaughter, Laken Grace Fleetwood "Sweet Pea"; special family member, Amanda McClaren; Ya-Ya Group and special friends of Inner Ya-Yas, Donna Sweat and Anna Aguero; her dog, Sam; and other loving friends and family members. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2012, at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 5, 2012, in the Chapel of Crespo & Jirrels, with Reverend Tommy Clements officiating. Burial will follow at the Liberty Catholic Cemetery. Honoring the family as pallbearers will be Joe Lain, Fred Hornberger, Peter Benz, Ted Greak, John Lynn Greak, and Carl Pickett. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Fleetwood, Darrell Haywood, Jay Haywood, Stanley Ford, Presley Ford, David Ford, Jack Hartel, Ed Pickett and Mary Ann's grandsons, Kody, Kyle, Jason, and Dallas.
