Mary Evelyn Sowders Hennion, 90 of Bowling Green died Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Magnolia Village.
The Edmonson County native was a daughter of the late Luther and Celia Elizabeth Slaughter Sowders. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles William Hennion, her son-in-law, Doug Davis and one sister, Chlorine Furlong. Mary was a housewife and a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.
Her survivors include her daughter, Teresa Jo Davis; two granddaughters, Melinda Jo Hogue(Jason) and Jennifer Lynn Magee(Michael) her great grandson, Jordan Hogue, three sisters, Georgia Brooks, Beverly Jones and Jessie Elmore; one brother, Travis “Bud” Sowders (Joann).
There will be a graveside service held at 3 p.m. on Sunday June 1, 2025 at Renfro Cemetery. The funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.
