TAUNTON – MaryAnn (Medeiros) Jacinto, 97, of Taunton, passed away on February 18, 2026, at Sippican Healthcare Center, Marion. She was the wife of the late Alfred "Jesse" Jacinto and the daughter of the late Manuel E. and Anna L. (Dias) Medeiros.

MaryAnn was born in Taunton where she lived all her life. She graduated from Taunton High School in 1946. MaryAnn married her "boy next door" Alfred "Jesse", in 1949. She graduated from the Taunton Vocational L.P.N. Program in 1969 and began working at Morton Hospital in Taunton. MaryAnn was a dedicated nurse for over 45 years. She enjoyed caring for her patients and fostered many friendships with her coworkers during her long and devoted career.

MaryAnn was a lifelong member of St. Anthony's Church in Taunton. She was a longtime customer of St. Pierre's Shoe Store and was a secretary of one of the shoe clubs there. Throughout her life, MaryAnn enjoyed playing Bingo at several spots in the Taunton area. She also loved traveling to Atlantic City. MaryAnn was well-known for baking pies at the holidays and sharing them with family and friends.

Survivors include her son, Douglas Jacinto and his wife, Marie of West Wareham; 5 grandchildren, Todd Morrisey of Taunton, Erin Weafer and her husband Adam of Dighton, Peter Jacinto and his wife, Marie of Foxboro, Tyler Jacinto and his wife, Erin of Plymouth and Kaylie Guerrini and husband, Brian of Pembroke. She was also blessed with 10 great grandchildren. MaryAnn was the mother of the late Susan Morrisey and grandmother-in-law of the late Kathleen Morrisey.

MaryAnn's Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026, at St. Anthony's Church, 126 School St., Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Taunton.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
