Mary Jo Applegate, 95, of Fishers, passed away on April 7, 2025.
Jo enjoyed gardening, playing cards especially bridge, baking and sewing. She also loved being around her family.
She is survived by her children, Karen, Fred ( Jane), Jean (Jim), Jeff (Patricia), Julie (Rob); 13 grandchildren, Eric (Danielle), Chris, Jessica (Dan), Kristi (Jeff), Matt, Alan, Misty, Teresa, Jamie (Adam), Amber, Kayla (Josh), Stephanie and Nathan (Becca); 21 great grandchildren, Krista, Erika, Michael, Ella, Aiden, Evan, Jacob, Samantha, Marshall, Ashley, Brittany, Brandon, Kayleigh, Alexa, Asher, Ashton, Tiyler, Payton, Ruby, Colton, and Celeste; 7 great great grandchildren, Claire, Vivi, Landon, Colton, Titus, Theodore, and Kawi Bryce
Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; daughter, Kathy; grandchildren, Andrea, Becky, Bryce, and Sarah
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Noon on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th Street, Indianapolis. Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until service time. Jo will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made in Jo’s name to Easterseals Crossroads, an agency that helps individuals with disabilities and their families live better lives. Donations may be made online at https://eastersealscrossroads.networkforgood.com/
