Mrs. Parrish retired from UNC Chapel Hill as a Payroll Clerk. She loved flower gardening and shopping. Together with her husband, she enjoyed traveling the world. Mrs. Parrish loved spending time with her grandchildren and family and will be deeply missed by all.
Mrs. Parrish is survived by her son-in-law, Phillip Perry; grandchildren, Tiphanie Thomas (William), Michael Glenn, Sean Perry (Jessica), Dylan Perry (Sara), Miranda Perry; great-grandchildren, Daneya Carrigan, Caroline Carrigan, Tristyn Thomas, Jaylen Thomas, Adalynn Glenn, Aria Porter, Chloe Glenn, Kylee Perry, Oaklee Perry; brother-in-law, Larry Herrin (Phyllis); and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 16th at Clements Funeral Chapel in Durham. A private burial will be held at a later date.
The family is being assisted by Clements Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. in Durham. Online condolences may be sent to www.clementsfuneralservice.com.
