Mary Colleen Kellermann

Mary Colleen Kellermann, 62, a 21-year resident of Lothian, MD and previously of Glenn Dale, MD, passed away on July 4, 2025.
Born on March 8, 1963 in Cheverly, MD to the late Jack and Kay Lloyd, Mary received her Bachelor's of Business from the University of Maryland. She established a 25 year career at The Academy of Saint Matthias the Apostle in Lanham, MD where she served as a Primary Aide, Aftercare Teacher, and beloved Kindergarten Teacher. Prior to this, she worked in the accounting department at Capital Cadillac.
In her spare time, Mary enjoyed riding bikes on the boardwalk, trips to Ocean City, a good sunset, family karaoke on the back porch, and a good car chat on the way home from work. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family and loved ones. True to her generous spirit, Mary gave the ultimate gift, even in death, by donating her corneas through Infinite Legacy, offering the gift of life and sight to others.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy. She is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Gregory Kellermann; her daughters, Nicole of Arnold, MD and Katie of Lothian, MD; her sisters, Kathleen (Mike) and Patty (Bob); her sister-in-law, Dianna; and many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Family and friends are invited to Mary's life celebration on Thursday, July 10 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Kalas Funeral Home and Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island, Edgewater. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, July 11 at 12:30 PM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville, with burial to follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Johns Hopkins Pancreatic Research.
