Patricia (Pat) Joan Kellermann, 94, of Lady Lake, FL, passed from this life on Monday, March 3, 2025
Born in Bowling Green, KY, she is the daughter of the late Clemmie and Harry Wallen.
Pat was a graduate of Edison Senior High School, Miami and attended the University of Florida, Gainesville.
In June of 1952 she married the love of her life, Edwin Kellermann. The ceremony was performed by Edwin's father, Rev. Conrad F Kellermann. A few days after their wedding, Ed graduated from Yale University and on the same day he began his commission as ensign in the United States Navy.
Pat loved to tell the story of how she became, "the same girl in every port" as she followed her newly married husband from port to port while he was on Navy Duty in the Mediterranean. The ports included Gibraltar, Genoa, San Remo, Trieste, and Venice. They spent their first anniversary in Southern France. Also, during that time, she was able to visit Nice, Florence, Rome and Paris.
Pat and Ed's love of travel continued as they spent summers in the Carolinas and North Georgia. They went on many cruises to satisfy Ed's love of being on the water and Pat's love of sightseeing, shopping and getting out of the Florida heat.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Edwin F Kellermann. She is survived by her sons, Harry Kellermann, wife Lynn, of Gainesville, GA, James Kellermann, wife Rosa, of Brooksville, FL, daughter, Linda Johnson of Milan, TN, 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She has been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Summerfield since 2000.
A Memorial Service will be held in Trinity Lutheran Church, Summerfield on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to:
