Mary Elizabeth Taylor Kendrick, 54 of Morehead, Kentucky passed away Friday afternoon, June 28, 2024, at her home with her family by her side.

She was born July 16, 1969, in Claremore, Oklahoma to Rosemary Lippert Taylor of Morehead and the late Dean Taylor.

Mary had worked as a florist at several shops in the area and for the last 20 years she worked at Creative Touch Florist in Morehead where she was loved by her coworkers and customers. She enjoyed the outdoors, kayaking, working in her flowers, antiques and caring for her pets. Mary was a people person and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed family gatherings where there was much laughter and fun.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Kendrick whom she married June 15, 1991. One daughter, Taylor Kendrick, her mother, Rosemary Lippert Taylor, her twin brother, Mark Taylor and brother Jeff Taylor and his wife Marsha all of Morehead. Her brother Joe Taylor and his wife Vickie of Fort Mill, South Carolina and sister Sandy Butler and her husband Kemper of Manhattan, Kansas. A granddaughter expected in October and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 3, 2024, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Brother Justin Wells and Brother Jeff Lopresto officiating.

Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Morehead.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday.

Serving as pall bearers will be Jeff Taylor, Joe Taylor, Mark Taylor, Josh Warren, Michael Taylor, Colby Butler, Brian Elliott, Billy Goldsmith and Dewayne Allen.

Contributions in memory of Mary Elizabeth Taylor Kendrick are suggested to St. Claire Hospice, 222 Medical Circle, Morehead, Kentucky 40351.
