Mary Ann (Hoban) Koniewicz, 92, of Milford, DE (Slaughter Beach) passed away Monday, June 23, 2025.
She was born in Milford, DE on July 23, 1932, the daughter of the late James and Alice (Martin) Hoban.
Mary Ann grew up in Milford, DE. She raised her family in the Cedar Heights section of Whitemarsh Twp. and moved to Milford, DE after retiring.
She was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church of Conshohocken, Pa. and Co-Owner and Operator of a Janitorial Service Co. with her late husband.
Mary Ann loved tournament fishing in the Delaware Bay, enjoyed boating, she loved playing pinochle with family and friends, was an avid crotchetier, and was known for her sewing, baking and stuffed cabbage.
Mary Ann was the wife of the Late - Walter "Gags" Koniewicz.
Her survivors include, Son James (Eleanor) Koniewicz of Schwenksville, Pa, Son Walter (Lila Jane) Koniewicz Jr, of Cedar Heights, Pa, Daughter Marlene Koniewicz Walker of Milford, DE, Daughter Cheryl Koniewicz of Milford, DE, Son Keven (Dana) Koniewicz of Plymouth Meeting, Pa, Son In Law Gene Volz, Daughter In Law Joyce Koniewicz, also survived by her Grandchildren Lisa, John, Robert, Kelly, Thomas, Eugene Jr, Jill, Brooke, Keven Jr, Brian, Amanda and Christian, and 17 Great Grandchildren.
Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son John Koniewicz, daughter Lorraine K. Volz and grandson Walter Koniewicz III.
Her Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 at 10:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA. Friends may call on Monday, July 7, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, West Norriton, Pa.
