Mary Myers Kozik

Mary (Myers) Kozik, age 94, of Gibsonia, PA, died on August 6, 2025. Born in Indianola, PA on July 20, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Albert A. and Margaret E. (McCully) Myers.

Mary graduated from West Deer High School in 1950 where she was a majorette, an excellent roller skater, knitter, crocheter, and trap shooter. She was the smallest and youngest member of the Indianola Drum & Bugle Corp and played the bugle. Mary was a past Elder of Deer Creek U.P. Church and manager of the West Deer Tech Food Bank for over 30 years. She loved to play bingo.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; a brother Albert A. Myers; and husband Leroy Kozik. Still living are brother Charles Myers (Rosemary); nephew Frank Myers; niece Patricia Bindernagel (Charles); two great-nephews Mike & Jim. Special thanks to Jeff & Linda, Patrcia & Chuck, Jane & Bruce, Jim & Nancy, and Dale & Kristy who helped her in the senior years.

At Mary's request there will be no viewing. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Lakewood Memorial Gardens in Dorseyville, PA.
