Mary E Langseth, 88, of Shelbyville, KY, passed peacefully Monday, March 31, 2025 at Baptist East Hospital Louisville KY. Mary was born in Great Falls Montana, May 30, 1936, to the late Howard Baker and Evelyn Baker.
A member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles R Langseth Sr, her 2 sons, Charles R Langseth Jr, and James G Langseth (Darlene).
She is the very proud MEMAW to 8 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. Mary was a patient, kind, gentle soul who spread her joy of life everywhere she went. She was most proud of her children and especially of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the rock of the family, always with a big smile on her face and so much love in her heart. She will be missed dearly by all her friends and family.
She is survived by her 5 siblings, George Baker, David Baker, Richard Baker, Marge Baker and Kathy Huse (Allen), 3 daughters, Elizabeth M Wolford (Joe) Versailles KY, Valorie A Langseth Shelbyville KY and Margaret L Peters (Kevin) Bowling Green KY.
Her memorial service will be 6 PM Saturday April 5, 2025 at Pearson's 149 Breckenridge Lane, with private burial next to her husband at New Albany National Cemetery.
