She was an avid collector of photographs and had tubs full of pictures of memorabilia which she held very dear to her heart. Valorie lived with her mother for 23 years. She was moms best friend, her protector, her confidant and her purpose in life. Valorie loved with all her heart, she was generous, kind and had a heart of gold. She could tell you each and every one of her family's names, birthdays, where they lived and what they were doing with their lives, this included immediate family, extended family, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Valorie never met a person she didn't like and she treated everyone with kindness and respect. She loved her job at H H Gregg until they went out of business and then at Home Depot where she sold appliances and received many awards for best salesperson, she was so very proud of her accomplishments. Valorie was celebrated at Pearson's Funeral Home on April 5th along with her mother, Mary Langseth, who preceded her in death only 5 days prior to her passing. Valorie and Mary will both be laid to rest together at New Albany National Cemetery, alongside the late Charles Langseth, Sr. on April 17th at 10am surrounded by their loving family members who will miss them both so very much.
