Mary Lou Leach, 97, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 27th at Lunn's Colonial Chapel with Minister Logan Pipes officiating. Interment is to follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home. The family welcomes friends to a visitation prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

A daughter of late Hubert "Shorty" Russell and Mary Colean (Thompson), Mary was born on October 6, 1928, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1945, and married Thomas James Leach, Jr., on January 1, 1947. She worked for McGraw Hill Dodge from 1950 until she retired in 1993. She loved cross stitching and needlepoint and enjoyed traveling to stitching retreats. She was a longtime member of Edgemere Church of Christ.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Colean Russell, her two siblings Betty Jean and George, husband Thomas, and her three children, Jimmy Leach, Richard Leach, and Kathy Robinson.

She is survived by her grandchildren Jamie Leach and wife Marcy of Weatherford, TX, Clint Freeman and husband Andrew Bland of Louisville, KY, and Cyndee Long and husband Cecil of Scotland, TX, and great-grandchildren Jordan Asselin, JT Leach, Mary Lou Long, and Thomas Long.

For those desiring, memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Wichita Falls, Edgemere Church of Christ, or Presbyterian Manor's Good Samaritan Fund.
