Mary Lightweis Obituary
Philadelphia, PA to Lucy and Paul Agner on June 28,1929. Mary was a manager for New Jersey Bell (Verizon)for 36 years. After retirement Mary was a volunteer at Venice Hospital, along with her husband Bud.
Mary married the love of her life Edward (Bud) Lightweis in 1963 and celebrated 44 years of marriage until his passing in 2007.
Mary will always be remembered as someone who was nice to everyone she met. She loved life, she loved her friends, but most important to her was her family, who she loved above all.
Surviving family members include her stepchildren and step grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephew's. She was preceded in death by her husband Bud, her sister Ann and brother Paul.
Services will be private through Farley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please send donations in her memory to Tidewell Hospice or The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's.
