Eileen Agnes Burr, 79, of North Port, passed away on November 11, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 23, 1946, in Elizabeth, NJ to the late John Ester Lammond and Veronica Christina Kennedy Lammond.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, John Lammond.
Eileen is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Halsey Burr; children, Shawn Burr and wife Melissa of Lakeland, FL, Christopher Burr and wife Janet of Ackworth, GA, and Debra Smith and husband Matthew of Columbia, SC; 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and several other family and friends.
Eileen was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Her and Bill moved to Florida in 2017, and she started karate at the age of 62. She was very proud to earn her 4th degree black belt in Taekwondo. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held from 12PM-2PM on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, located at 1100 El Jobean Road in Port Charlotte, FL.
