Patrick Burr Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Egizi Funeral Home on Feb. 11, 2026.
Patrick Burr

On February 10, 2026, of Washington Twp. Age 80. Beloved husband of Patricia L. (nee Harker). Devoted father of Heather Burr-Martin (Scott) and the late Justin Lee Burr. Loving grandfather of Matthew and Maricia Dilks (Brandon). Proud great-grandfather of Brynlee and Braxton. Dear brother of James Burr, Hope Fuhrer (Norman) and Nancy King.

Married for 54 years, Patrick was a devoted father, always making sure his loved ones were taken care of. He was devoted to God and his country and loved to chat with people about both. Growing up in Pine Hill, he spent his younger days working alongside his parents at Clementon Lake Park, working on the roller coasters. He spent 4 years in the United States Air Force repairing jet aircraft, then on to Boeing, building on helicopters. He later went on to become Production Manager at W.R. Grace Co. and while helping to close that facility, he built the house he lived in. He was a realtor, worked at the Philadelphia Naval Yard, and spent quite a few years at Nick's Custom Chrome Motorcycles, powder coating bikes with great attention to detail.
His last job was working at St. John's, caring for the building and making sure that everyone that walked through the doors was safe and comfortable. One of Patrick's proudest endeavors was spending time at the orphanage in Acuna, Mexico, working alongside Norris and Ruth Blair, where he did repairs at the property and strengthened his relationship with God.
Patrick's hobbies were endless. He built his own sea kayak from wood. Repaired countless Harleys, cars and trucks. Learned fly fishing. His wood carvings won awards. His garage was where anything could be made beautiful and whole again. Patrick's life was full of interests and dedication. Always finishing what he started. He left behind an example of a life well lived.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday 9:30-11:00 am at St. John's Church, 149 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:15 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Patrick's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
