Mary Frances Mack (nee Winters) was born on November 29, 1940 in New York City and passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, at her home in Toms River with family by her side.

Mary Frances is predeceased by her husband, Jacob Mack, her parents John Kevin Winters and Helena Mary (nee Horohoe). She is also predeceased by sisters Eileen Winters and Patricia Messineo.

Mary Frances is survived by her children, Kevin Kingsley, Karen O'Rorke (Timothy), Kenneth (Mick) Jankech, Keith Jankech (Karen), and John Kevin Kingsley (Meredeth). She is also survived by her sister, Ann Marie Winters Jefferson of Fallsburg, NY.

She was blessed with twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two nieces, two nephews, and many friends.

Mary Frances was a native New Yorker, but was always proud of her Irish heritage. She had an adventurous early life filled with many accomplishments. She graduated from St. Alphonsus Commercial High School in New York, where she excelled in writing. She started her career working in a secretarial position honing her writing skills. She would later use those skills to create a popular social column, "Babbling Brooks," in her local Jackson Township newspaper. Mary Frances also was an exceptional twirler, and was the featured majorette with the VFW Post 2348 and the Saints Drum and Bugle Corp, based in New York City. She later used her talent to work with young people, taking on positions as coach to the Jackson High School twirlers, and the Toms River Little Indians Pop Warner twirlers. She also started a local twirling Academy in Toms River.

Mary Frances became a fashion model for several Bridal Houses in Manhattan, NY. She would continue her connection to the modeling world throughout her life with positions at the La Jolie Charm & Modeling School, and later becoming Owner and Director of Visions Modeling School of Toms River. These modeling experiences eventually led her to an Executive Board position with the National Miss Orient USA Pageant, held in Atlantic City. She was also Director of Sunshine Generation of Toms River, a children's performance group.

Mary Frances was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. Throughout her life, she showed her deep compassion for others and was involved in a variety of civic organizations where she often held leadership positions. Some of them were the Jackson Community Players theatre group, St. Veronica's Rosary Altar Society, a multitude of Parent-Teacher Organizations, Citizens Against Substance Abuse in Toms River, and Soroptimist International, where she played a pivotal role in the annual Women of Distinction award. She also enjoyed organizing their holiday gift basket program for "shut in" seniors.

Mary Frances proudly worked at the M&T Corporation, in Lakehurst, for many years as a Human Resource Administrator. She retired from her position in 1997 after decades of employment. It was there that she met her husband, Jacob "Jack" Mack, who served in the United States Marine Corps for 25 years. They enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and loved traveling.

Mary Frances was known to be a person who would welcome people into her home, and treat them like family. Always young at heart, she enjoyed participating in activities with all generations. Affectionately called "G-Dawg" by her grandchildren, she was known for making infamous comments and comical observations. She enjoyed attending many rock concerts and shows with her children into her later years. She had a generous heart, and supported family members and friends when they were in need. She will be forever remembered by all those who knew and loved her.
