Mary "Jackie" McGraw, born on November 12, 1942, in Leesburg, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2025, in Dayton. Jackie was a remarkable woman whose spirit and kindness touched the lives of many during her 82 years. She devoted over 30 years of her life as a production worker at Chrysler, earning the respect and affection of friends and colleagues alike.

A graduate of Leesburg High School, Jackie carried a vibrant personality that was characterized by her generous nature and infectious laughter. She had a unique "no filter" attitude that made her delightfully candid and endearing. Jackie was affectionately known as "Granny," a title she wore with pride, ensuring that everyone knew not to cross her family. "Do they know who your Granny is?" she would say, light-heartedly reminding others of the fierce love she had for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Among her cherished hobbies, Jackie loved to savor every meal, with a particular fondness for fresh garden produce. Her passions extended to riding four-wheelers, mudding, sewing, and macramé. A lover of adventure, Jackie relished camping trips, cruises, and visits to the nearest casino. Her faith was an integral part of her life; she knew the Bible well and loved Jesus deeply, often sharing her beliefs with anyone willing to listen.

Jackie’s generous spirit knew no bounds. She would often pay for the people in line in front of her if they were unable to cover their items, a testament to her selflessness and unwavering kindness.

Jackie leaves behind a loving family who were her proudest accomplishments. She is survived by her children, Deanne (Andrew) Claybaugh, Timie (Duane) Wells, and Ed (Kim) Lay. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Terra (Doug) Sparks, Brandy (Edward Tilley) Claybaugh, Andrew (Sydney) Claybaugh, Jessica Creed, Lacey (Jeff) Kingsoliver, and Brett (Adi) Lay. She was also blessed with multiple great-grandchildren: Emma, Nadia, Alex, Cami, Alexis, Alayna, Amiya, Laya, Colton, Jayce, Nate, Natalie, Easton, and Charli, along with her great-great-granddaughter, Tatum.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Alfred McGraw; her parents, Edwin and Jessie Alice Orme; and her beloved brothers, Kenny, Butch, and Freddy.

A visitation to honor Jackie will be held on August 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM, all taking place at the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Xenia, Ohio.
