Mary C. Meyer, 79, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Country Villa in Little Chute. Mary was born on December 30, 1945 to August and Mildred (Buss) Luedtke in Neenah. She married James Dietzen and he preceded her in death in January of 1975. Later in life she married Gilbert Meyer and he preceded her in death in November of 2020. Mary worked for many years at both Theda Clark Memorial Hospital and then at Kimberly-Clark, Inc., and later at the Appleton Airport until her retirement. She liked to winter in Florida and spend time at the ocean. Mary had a very special place in her heart for her dog, Teddy.
Mary is survived by her son Michael (Christine) Dietzen, two grandchildren; Brooke Dietzen and Blake Dietzen, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, James Dietzen and Gilbert Meyer, her brothers; Ernest (Diana) Weyland, Robert (Della) Weyland, Daniel (Shirley) Weyland, James (LaVonne) Weyland, Philip (Molly) Weylandt, Ralph (Sharon) Luedtke, John (Lana) Luedtke, Sam Luedtke, and Clifford Luedtke.
The celebration of life for Mary will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St., Appleton. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. For online condolences please visit www.valleyfh.com. Wishing you feelings of comfort, moments of peace, and memories of joy during this difficult time.

I worked with Mary for a long time at Kimberly-Clark. I had just spoken to her several months ago and will certainly miss her.

She had such a joyous spirit and loved life.
