Mary Louise Moeller, born on December 15, 1938, in Covington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025. A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Mary lived a life rich with love and dedication to her family and community. She was a proud graduate of Holy Cross High School in Covington, where she forged the foundation for her remarkable life.
For many years, Mary dedicated her professional life to serving as a court clerk at the Kenton County courthouse, displaying unwavering commitment and integrity in her work. However, her true pride and joy were her family. Mary nourished her children's aspirations, proudly supporting them in every endeavor. Her son, Harry (Margy Heddens) Moeller; daughters, Marsha (Mike) Moore and Brenda (Steve Colyer) Jones; and granddaughter, Nicole (Josh) Erdman were the light of her life. She cherished all the precious moments spent with her beloved great-grandchild, Jordynn Erdman, whose laughter filled her heart with joy.
Mary's love extended beyond her immediate family. She treasured her sister, Diana Klinedinst, her niece, Renee (Robert) Tomamichel, and her nephew, Keith (Mindy) McCarroll, all of whom held a special place in her heart. Throughout her life, she fostered deep connections with a wide circle of family and friends, ensuring her legacy of love and warmth would endure.
In her leisure time, Mary embraced her hobbies with passion. She found excitement in visiting the casino, relished the thrill of playing BINGO, and enjoyed the quiet satisfaction of completing word searches. A lifelong lover of music, she demonstrated her talents by playing the piano and even took on the role of director for her school orchestra. Mary was also an enthusiastic band parent, dedicating countless hours to attend marching band shows and concerts, always cheering on her children and later on her granddaughter, with fervor. Once a band parent, always a band parent.
Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Lowry (nee Kaiser), and her stepfather, Charles Lowry. Their memories, along with those of all her loved ones, now reside in the hearts of those who remain.
A visitation will be held in her honor on April 29, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a memorial service and reception at Newcomer Funeral Home in Erlanger, Kentucky. It is here that family and friends will gather to celebrate the incredible life of Mary Louise Moeller, a woman whose spirit touched so many. Her legacy of love, support, and pride in her family will continue to inspire all who knew her.
