Mary L. Mohr was called to heaven Wednesday, January 17th, 2024, after a short battle.
Mary was a secretary at Bookcrafters in Chelsea and had a long career as a cake maker. Her cake business included everything from casual cakes for dinner to wedding cakes that left you in awe of her work. Her cakes were known from Michigan to Florida and especially the Saline Ford Plant. Mary loved camping in the summer and had many friends and family members at Sonnys Campground in Ohio.
Mary was proceeded in death by her parents, Louis and Josephine Dufek; her brother, Leon Dufek; sister, Yvonne Wilborn; her sister and brother-in-law, Lorain and Richard McKenna; and her son, Charles Stoddard.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard Mohr of Macon; her brother, Robert (Darlene) Dufek of Ypsilanti; sister, Elaine Gates of Quincy; daughters, Tonya (Robert) Perez of Adrian, Tammy (Steven) Null of Macon, Dawn (Chuck) Stoddard of Michigan Center; three sons, Raymond Stoddard, Steve Stoddard of Clinton, and Gregory (Kathy) Stoddard of Clinton; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; many nephews and nieces; and many, many brothers and sisters in-laws.
Visitation for Mary will be held Monday, January 22, 2024, at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Tecumseh, Michigan, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.
You may send condolences to the family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com. Memorial Contributions may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America. Arrangements have been entrusted to Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
